Most people know the story of Si Kabayan like folklore in West Java. Si Kabayan is a man whose life in the land of Pasundan. He is the laziest man, but clever. He often makes his cleverness to support his laziness.
Si Kabayan is often mistaken for a stupid and lazy figure. Behind the attitude of Si Kabayan, he is innocent and clever, actually ancestor Sundanese creates a character of Si Kabayan for describes the philosophy of the humble, smart, and very spiritual in Sundanese people. Si Kabayan have a wife. Nyi Iteung is his wife. The Si Kabayan story involves another character that is Abah and Ambu, his parents in law.

Si Kabayan And The Ghosts In The Well
Si Kabayan father in law, Abah, really do not like to see the behavior of Si Kabayan, he is lazy to work. Abah Does not want to talk to him and looked the other way, even if Si Kabayan greet or speak to him. He very hated Si Kabayan.
Si Kabayan aware of the hatred from his father-in-law. However, he was not feeling treated as such. He then finds ways to make Abah no longer hated him. His discovery of the way. He also asked his wife about the original name of Abah.
